In partnership with youth, we advocate sound policies and practices that promote a positive approach to adolescent sexual health and parenting. We believe reproductive justice is an integral part of a broader human rights framework. Our reproductive justice work must align with other social justice movements to address the multilayered impact of oppression on at-risk youth. In all our projects, we focus on serving marginalized adolescent groups, including low-income, immigrant, homeless, LGBTQI, and pregnant and parenting youth.

HOTDISH Militia - Duluth, Minnesota

The HOTDISH Militia exists to insure reproductive justice for all women and young people of the Northland whose voices are seldom heard.  To accomplish this goal, the Militia provides community education, monetary support, and legislative lobbying as needed.

NARAL Pro-Choice New York and National Institute for Reproductive Health - New York, New York

NARAL Pro-Choice New York, the New York State Affiliate of Pro-Choice America, works to protect safe, legal abortion and expand the full range of reproductive rights for women regardless of age, race or income. The National Institute for Reproductive Health (the NARAL Pro-Choice New York Foundation) develops and implements programs that are significantly expanding the availability of abortion and family planning services nationwide, while removing health care obstacles women face today.

The Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies - New Orleans, Louisiana

Women With A Vision, Inc., New Orleans, Louisiana

Women With A Vision, Inc. is a collective of women that live to promote wellness and disease prevention for women, girls and their families living at or below the poverty line through health education, early intervention strategies, and referrals to culturally appropriate community resources. As a key tenet of our organizational philosophy, WWAV employs outreach workers that are indigenous to the community they serve and who are committed to providing HIV/AIDS and STI prevention education, counseling and testing services, substance abuse resources, health fairs, focus groups, and education on a range of women�s health needs, including reproductive and sexual health, cervical and breast cancer, reproductive justice, and safer sex practices. Our programs work from a harm reduction model to ensure that women and girls, especially low and no-income, who have been deeply hurt and excluded from the mainstream, who have been homeless, incarcerated, addicted to drugs, or otherwise severly impacted by poverty have a place to heal, achieve self-sufficiency and become positively engaged in their communities. WWAV is here to meet women where they are at and build roots from there.

NARAL Pro-Choice Texas Foundation works to promote, protect, and support the right of all Texas women and families to make decisions regarding reproductive health and rights through public education, community training, voter registration, grassroots organizing, and original research.  NARAL Pro-Choice Texas Foundation also coordinates the statewide Healthy Women, Healthy Families coalition project.

Faith Aloud is the religious and ethical voice for reproductive justice.  Believing that religious faith and sexuality can be mutually beneficial forces in our lives, Faith Aloud works to reduce the religious stigma associated with sexual behavior and to support persons making sexual and reproductive decisions.
