Who We Are
The Pro-Choice Public Education Project is dedicated to engaging young women on their terms around the critical issue of reproductive freedom. Historically, the reproductive rights movement has marginalized young women, women of color, and low-income women, among other groups. PEP works to bridge the gap between organizations and diverse young women by both listening to young women's stories, and by working with organizations to help them meet young women where they are.
that end, PEP engages the organizations in the reproductive health, rights and justice movement
and puts them in dialogue with young women who are developing their activism
skills. The staff of PEP act as mentors and anchors, while the bulk of PEP's programming
and research is directed by the Young Women's Leadership Council.
|Board of Directors|
The PEP Board of Directors is a group of dynamic, dedicated advocates and organizers committed to ensuring the well-being of PEP and the organizations continued growth.
|Young Women's Leadership Council|
The Young Women's Leadership Council advises PEP on programming and outreach efforts to ensure that the interests and voices of young women are reflected in all of the Project's activities.
PEP staff members are a diverse group from a variety of backgrounds who share a commitment to social and reproductive justice and a passion for working to create a more just and equitable world.
